About Christina, she/her

I’m Christina. I believe therapy is most effective when you are seen as a whole person, not just a diagnosis, a problem, or a collection of symptoms.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and flexible. Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re experiencing, recognize strengths you may not always see within yourself or your relationship, and develop tools to help you navigate life with greater confidence and self-understanding.

I don’t believe there is one “right” way to do therapy. Some people benefit from structure, practical strategies, and concrete skill-building. Others need room to slow down, reflect, process experiences, and better understand the patterns that have shaped their lives. Often, meaningful therapy includes both.

My goal is to meet you where you are and help you create change that feels meaningful and aligns with your goals, relationships, identities, and values.

Growing up with ties to Appalachia has shaped how I think about resilience, belonging, and growth.

For me, the Appalachian Mountains represent perseverance, perspective, strength, and the courage it takes to keep moving when the climb gets difficult.

And hollers, the valleys between two mountains, represent something equally important: connection, community, roots, belonging, and the places where we can find shelter.

Healing happens when we honor our strength and our roots.

Therapeutic Approach

Therapy with me is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in a genuine therapeutic relationship. Whether I am working with an individual or a couple, I want to understand not only the concern that brought you to therapy, but also the larger context in which it developed.

Our relationships, sexual lives, emotional experiences, histories, identities, and ways of navigating everyday life are interconnected. Trauma, ADHD and executive functioning differences, stress, relationship dynamics, and sexual well-being can all influence one another. I help clients explore those connections rather than treating one part of their experience in isolation.

In individual therapy, our work might include developing practical strategies for managing stress or executive functioning, strengthening emotional regulation, understanding relationship patterns, processing earlier experiences, exploring identity and sexuality, or developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

In couples therapy, I help partners slow down difficult interactions, understand what is happening beneath recurring conflicts, and communicate their needs more clearly. We may work on emotional connection, communication, trust, intimacy, differences in desire, changing sexual relationships, or the ways that stress, trauma, ADHD, family experiences, and other life circumstances affect the relationship.

Sex therapy provides a space to talk openly about concerns that can sometimes be difficult to discuss elsewhere. I approach these conversations with curiosity, respect, and without judgment or assumptions about what sex or relationships are supposed to look like.

You can expect me to bring curiosity, compassion, respect, and authenticity into our work. My role is not to decide what your life, relationship, or sexuality should look like. Instead, I’ll work alongside you as you understand obstacles, recognize strengths, deepen connection, and determine what meaningful change looks like for you.

Through every mountain, valley, and winding trail, we all seek to be understood, acknowledged, heard, and loved. Guided by compassion and grounded in connection, we echo hope through all hikes of life.

Inclusive Sex & Relationship Therapy

I believe belonging is essential to healing. I welcome people of diverse identities, backgrounds, relationships, and lived experiences, and strive to create a space where you don’t have to leave parts of yourself at the door. My approach is LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, neurodivergent-affirming, and inclusive of diverse relationships and family structures.
